About this template

This template gives you a waitlist page that looks like a funded startup built it, and you don't need a developer or any code to make it work. Visitors land on a full-viewport 3D scene with an iridescent wireframe cube, enter their email, and instantly see their position in line plus a personal referral link.

The technical parts are already handled. Supabase stores every signup, computes positions on the fly, and broadcasts live counter updates to every open tab. Referral attribution, duplicate detection, and self-referral blocking are all baked into the database layer. Focus on your launch strategy instead of wiring up backend logic.

What's included: a full-bleed waitlist page with a 3D WebGL scene (plus a CSS fallback for unsupported devices), an email capture form with inline validation, a post-signup reveal card showing queue position and a copyable referral link, a live "people waiting" counter, and a protected admin table where you can search signups, sort by referrals or join date, and export everything to CSV. Three screens total, each doing exactly one job.

Compared to hosted waitlist tools that charge monthly fees and slap their branding on your page, this template gives you full ownership of the design, the data, and the domain. Compared to coding a waitlist from scratch, you skip weeks of signup logic, ranking queries, and realtime plumbing.

Validating demand before writing code

If you have a product idea but no product yet, this waitlist page lets you gauge interest before committing engineering resources. Share the link, watch the counter climb, and export signups when you are ready to send invites. You get a clear signal of demand with zero upfront development cost.

Running a referral-driven launch

The built-in referral loop turns every signup into a distribution channel. Each visitor gets a unique link. Friends who sign up through that link push the original visitor higher in the queue. You get organic growth without running paid ads or building a separate referral system.

Building hype for a product rebrand

When you are relaunching under a new name or pivoting to a new market, a standalone waitlist page creates anticipation without revealing the full product. Swap the monogram, update three color values, and your brand is reflected across the cube, the button gradient, and the fallback scene.

Collecting early users for a SaaS beta

Before your SaaS dashboard is production-ready, point your domain at this waitlist page and start collecting emails from day one. The admin table gives you a ranked list of your most engaged early adopters, the people whose referrals brought others in, so you know exactly who to invite first.

Getting Started

1. Remix this template

Open the template in Lovable and remix it into your own project. The 3D scene, email form, referral logic, and admin panel are all pre-wired. If this template is not the right fit, you can remix a different one. No wasted work.

2. Customize your brand

Edit src/config/waitlist.ts to set your product name, pitch line, monogram letters, and three gradient hues. Every surface updates automatically: the cube edges, the monogram shader, the submit button, and the CSS fallback. Update the font pairing in style-pack.css if your brand calls for different type.

3. Add your content

Rewrite the pitch line to match your launch angle. The default reads "Something new is coming. Be first." Replace it with copy that tells visitors what they are waiting for. Keep it to one sentence. The 3D scene carries the visual weight, so the words just need to orient people.

4. Connect your tools

Supabase is already wired as the backend. Your signups table, position-ranking view, and realtime broadcast trigger are created in a single migration. If you want to pipe signups into a CRM or email tool later, export from the admin CSV or connect a Supabase webhook to Zapier. No external integration is required to launch.

5. Go live

Deploy through Lovable with one click and point your custom domain at it. Share the URL everywhere: social profiles, email signatures, landing page links. Watch the live counter update as signups arrive. Open the admin panel to review who joined, how many referrals they brought, and where they rank.

This waitlist page template works for founders, marketers, and operators who want pre-launch traction before the product ships. You get a referral engine without building one, a ranked queue without writing SQL, and a polished 3D landing experience without hiring a WebGL developer.

Your first signups could arrive this afternoon. Remix the template, swap in your brand, deploy, and start sharing the link while the idea is still fresh.

Features & capabilities

  • Email capture with validation

Inline email validation catches typos on blur, blocks duplicates at the database level, and shows clear error messages without page reloads.

  • Referral link generation

Every signup receives a unique short-code URL. Friends who join through the link push the referrer higher in the ranked queue automatically.

  • Live position reveal

After signup the form swaps to a card showing queue position with a count-up animation, referral link, and a one-tap copy button.

  • Realtime people counter

A live counter at the bottom of the page updates across all open tabs whenever a new visitor joins, powered by a database broadcast trigger.

  • Owner admin table

A password-protected table lists every signup with email, join date, referral count, and computed position. Search, sort, and export to CSV.

  • Configurable brand surface

One config file controls the product name, pitch line, monogram letters, and three gradient hues. Every visual surface derives from it.

  • WebGL fallback rendering

When a device lacks WebGL support or the visitor prefers reduced motion, a CSS gradient and static SVG cube replace the canvas with no layout shift.

  • Supabase backend wiring

Signup storage, position ranking, referral attribution, duplicate detection, and realtime broadcast are handled by a single Supabase migration.

  • Returning visitor persistence

A localStorage token remembers returning visitors and skips the form, showing their freshly computed position without requiring an account or login.
