About this template
This template gives you a complete quiz app that looks professional and you don't need coding skills or LMS experience to make it work. You get a full quiz builder, a public taker experience, and a results dashboard in one package.
User authentication, anonymous quiz-taking with attempt limits, score calculation, countdown timers, and per-option explanations are already built in. That frees you up to shape questions that actually measure what your takers know.
The template includes a marketing landing page, sign-up and sign-in screens, a creator dashboard with quiz cards, a deck-style question editor supporting six question types (multiple choice, true/false, select all, match pairs, pick best, and free text), a quiz settings panel for pass marks, attempt caps, and time limits, a public quiz-taking flow with one-question-at-a-time navigation, pass and fail result screens with answer review, and a results view with KPI tiles and per-attempt response breakdowns.
Compare that to building a quiz app from scratch or subscribing to a dedicated quiz platform. Custom development takes weeks of work on grading logic, anonymous session handling, and result analytics alone. SaaS quiz tools charge monthly per seat and lock your content behind their brand. This template gives you full ownership of the experience and the data from day one.
Onboarding new hires or students
Publish a compliance check or orientation quiz in minutes. Set a pass mark, cap the number of retries, and share one link with your cohort. The results dashboard shows you who passed, who struggled, and which questions tripped people up, so you can adjust your training material based on real data.
Running certification or knowledge checks
Use match-pairs and pick-best question types to test deeper understanding beyond simple recall. Hide correct answers after submission so takers review explanations without memorizing the key. Attempt limits and time constraints add the structure certification programs require.
Collecting open-ended feedback alongside scored questions
Free-text questions sit alongside graded ones without affecting the pass mark. Ask learners to explain their reasoning or describe a process in their own words. Their responses appear in the attempt detail panel next to their scored answers, giving you qualitative insight alongside quantitative scores.
Sharing assessments with external audiences
The public taker path requires no account creation, no app download, and no password. Copy one link, drop it in an email or a Slack message, and anyone can take the quiz on any device. Creators see every attempt in their results view without exposing taker identities.
Getting Started
1. Remix this template
Open this template in Lovable and remix it into your own project. You get the full quiz builder, taker flow, and results dashboard as your starting point.
2. Customize your brand
Update the landing page headline, subhead, and testimonials to match your organization. Swap the wordmark icon if you need a different logo. Toggle between light and dark themes from the settings panel. The per-quiz colour themes give each assessment its own visual identity without extra design effort.
3. Add your content
Create your first quiz from the dashboard. Add questions using any of the six types: multiple choice, true/false, select all, match pairs, pick best, or free text. Write per-option explanations so takers learn from their mistakes during the review step. Set your pass mark as a count of correct answers, configure attempt limits, and add a time constraint if your assessment needs one.
4. Connect your tools
The template runs on Lovable Cloud with Supabase for authentication and data storage. Google and Apple OAuth are pre-configured through the Lovable auth broker. If you need to send quiz links via a specific channel, copy the public URL and paste it wherever your audience already gathers: email, Slack, Teams, or an LMS.
5. Go live
Publish your quiz from the editor. The template generates a public URL automatically. Share that link with your takers. Results start appearing in your dashboard as people complete the quiz. Filter by date range, drill into individual attempts, and review every response. You can have your first quiz live and collecting results within an afternoon.
Conclusion
This quiz app template works for educators, trainers, and team leads who want to assess knowledge without paying for a full LMS. You get six question types without building grading logic, anonymous taking without managing user accounts, and detailed results without writing a single database query.
Your first quiz can be live this afternoon. Remix the template, write your questions, publish, and share the link. Every answer and score will be waiting for you in the results dashboard by the time your takers finish.
