About this template
This template is a recruiting pipeline tracker for small hiring teams. Candidates move through six stages — applied, screen, interview, offer, hired, rejected — on a Kanban board you can drag on desktop or update with a stage picker on mobile. Every candidate is linked to a requisition, so you always know which role a person is in play for.
Requisitions hold the role title, department, hiring manager, target start date, status, and notes. Click a requisition to see the candidates attached to it and jump straight into a profile. Candidate detail pages show contact details, source, rating, notes, and a full history of stage changes recorded automatically as people move.
An analytics page turns the same data into a conversion funnel, a breakdown of candidates by source, average time in stage, and headline numbers for open roles, total candidates, and hire rate. A searchable candidates page lists the whole roster with name, current stage, and the position they're up for.
The app includes an AI copilot page where you ask questions in plain language — "who's stuck in screen?", "how is the frontend role tracking?" — and get answers grounded in your own records. Authentication is built in with email and password plus Google sign-in, a guided three-step onboarding flow, and a private workspace per account enforced at the database level. A light marketing landing page sits in front, and the signed-in app supports light and dark themes.
Best Use Cases
Running an Active Hiring Round
Keep every applicant for every open role on one board. Drag candidates from screen to interview to offer and see instantly where the round is thin or backed up.
Reporting to Leadership
The analytics page gives you the conversion funnel, hire rate, average days per stage, and candidates by source without building a dashboard. Share the same view you use day to day.
Migrating Off a Spreadsheet
Upload your existing candidate sheet with the CSV importer, map your columns, and pick up where you left off. Export back to CSV any time your data needs to leave the app.
Answering Pipeline Questions Fast
Ask the copilot which candidates are stuck, how a specific requisition is tracking, or where your best hires come from, and get an answer drawn from your own records instead of digging through rows.
Getting Started
Step 1: Remix This Template
Click "Remix" to create your copy. You'll get a working pipeline app with sample candidates and requisitions you can explore before adding real data.
Step 2: Familiarize Yourself With the Project
Go to User > Settings > Knowledge, and read what's under "Project knowledge" to understand the intended architecture and access control model. You can also ask Lovable in the chat for more details.
Step 3: Customize Your Brand
Update the colors, fonts, and company name. The design system is token-based, so changing the palette restyles the whole app — landing page, sidebar, board, and charts — in both light and dark mode.
Step 4: Add Your Roles and Candidates
Create your open requisitions, then add candidates manually or upload a CSV with the built-in importer and column mapping. Clear the sample data from Settings once your own records are in.
Step 5: Invite Your Team
Each account gets its own private workspace by default. Ask Lovable to extend the data model to shared team workspaces with roles if you want recruiters and hiring managers working in the same pipeline.
Step 6: Go Live
Publish with one click and share the link. Hosting, authentication, and the database are handled for you.
Step 7: Iterate and Make It Yours
Add your own stages, scorecards, interview scheduling, or job-board integrations until the workflow matches how your team actually hires.
Conclusion
This template suits recruiters, HR generalists, and founders who are running hiring out of spreadsheets and inboxes and want a real pipeline without another SaaS subscription. You get a Kanban board, requisitions, candidate profiles with stage history, funnel analytics, CSV import/export, and an AI copilot that answers questions about your data — all deployable in minutes and ready to customize.
