About this template

Crestline Funnel Insights is a revenue funnel dashboard for a fictional B2B SaaS vendor. It ships with a complete sample dataset, so the first screen after remixing is a working analysis rather than an empty state. The centrepiece is a butterfly funnel: the trunk carries the volume that advanced, dropped volume branches left, still-pending volume branches right, and every stage can be clicked to inspect the records behind it.

The defining idea is that a lead sitting mid-funnel is not the same thing as a lead that died. Every stage splits its intake into advanced, pending and dropped, and those three always add up to intake. Dispositions are derived from milestone dates and a per-stage staleness budget, never stated in the data, so the analysis stays honest when you swap in your own records.

Beyond the funnel there are three analysis pages: weekly cohort conversion with immature cohorts flagged as inconclusive, an ARR-weighted closed-lost matrix that reconciles to the headline lost figure across every grouping, and a sources page that separates channel volume from channel quality. Filters for segment, source and date range gate every view.

Every tile and chart carries a "how this is computed" explainer sourced from the same code that produces the number, so the methodology cannot drift from the math. A template instructions page walks you through replacing the sample data with your own CRM export using a single prompt in the Lovable chat.

Best use cases

Weekly pipeline review

Open the funnel, filter to the segment or date range under discussion, and click any stage to see exactly which records advanced, which are still pending and which dropped. The disposition split turns "conversion is down" into a specific list of stalled records.

Loss post-mortems

The closed-lost page ranks lost ARR by reason and cross-tabs it against segment, source or deal size. Click a cell to read the individual deals behind it, so the post-mortem starts from records rather than impressions.

Channel budget decisions

The sources page plots volume against win rate and re-derives the full lead funnel per channel. Channels that look strong on lead count but weak on quality separate visibly from the ones worth more spend.

Cohort health over time

Trends show how each creation week's cohort actually converted, with young cohorts drawn dashed once they are too immature to judge. That stops a recent dip from being read as a real decline.

Getting started

Step 1: Remix this template

Click "Remix" to create your copy. You get a complete working dashboard on sample data with no configuration, so you can explore every view before touching anything.

Step 2: Familiarize yourself with the project

Go to User > Settings > Knowledge, and read what's under "Project knowledge" to understand the intended architecture and access control model. You can also ask Lovable in the chat for more details.

Step 3: Customize your brand

Change the company name, tagline and accent colour. Brand identity is centralised and the design tokens live in one stylesheet, so the whole dashboard follows a single edit.

Step 4: Add your own funnel data

Open the template instructions page in the app, export a CSV from your CRM, and paste the provided master prompt into the Lovable chat with your file attached. Lovable maps your columns, renames your stages and rebrands the app in one conversation.

Step 5: Share it with your team

Publish and send the link to revenue leadership, or ask Lovable to add authentication if you want the numbers behind a login.

Step 6: Go live

Deploy with one click. Lovable handles hosting and performance.

Step 7: Iterate and make it yours

Add stages, rename them, reorder them or add new metrics. Stages are ordered configs and every figure is derived in one engine file, so changes propagate through the diagram, the explainers and the maturity logic automatically.

Conclusion

This dashboard is for revenue operations, sales leadership and founders who want to see where pipeline actually goes rather than a single conversion percentage. You get a proportional funnel diagram, an advanced-pending-dropped disposition split, cohort trends, closed-lost concentration and channel quality analysis, all working on sample data from the moment you remix. Swap in your CRM export and you have the funnel review you have been rebuilding in a spreadsheet every quarter.

Features & capabilities

  • Butterfly funnel diagram

A hand-rolled SVG funnel where the trunk carries advancing volume and dropped and pending branch away to either side, in proportion.

  • Stage drill-down

Click any stage to open a panel listing the records behind its advanced, pending and dropped counts with the math for each.

  • Advanced, pending and dropped disposition

Every stage splits its intake three ways, derived from milestone gaps and a per-stage staleness budget, and the three always sum to intake.

  • Lead and deal funnels

Two funnels in one carousel — created through sales-qualified for leads, and created through closed for deals.

  • Lineage bridge

Shows the deals that opened with no lead lineage and the SQOs that never opened a deal, instead of forcing the two funnels to reconcile.

  • ARR mode

Toggle the deal funnel between record counts and annual recurring revenue.

  • Cohort filters

Segment, source and date-range filters that gate every derivation on every page.

  • Weekly cohort conversion

Per-week cohort curves for each milestone, drawn dashed once a cohort is younger than that milestone's own maturity budget.

  • ARR-weighted loss matrix

Loss category cross-tabbed against segment, source or deal size band, with cells that reconcile to the headline lost ARR in all three groupings.

  • Loss reason detail

Fixed detail labels inside each loss category, ranked by lost ARR, plus a stacked view of loss mix over time.

  • Source quality analysis

Per-source funnel shape, a sortable per-source summary table, and a volume-versus-win-rate scatter with median crosshairs.

  • Posture cards

Sparkline of closed-won ARR by week, a win-rate ring, open pipeline by stage and won ARR by segment.

  • Computation explainers

Every tile and chart exposes a "how this is computed" popover generated from the same registry that derives the number.

  • Light and dark themes

A machined visual system with monospace numerals, tuned for both modes and switchable from the nav.
