How to use AI to build A Simple SaaS - Easy Tutorial Lovable Dev

0:00 today we're going to be looking at The 0:01 Lovable app and see if we can create 0:03 tools apps and full-on websites using AI 0:07 now unlike other generators and code 0:10 builders that are powered by AI this one 0:13 has some features that I think can help 0:15 us make a lot more money in a more 0:17 simple way without having to understand 0:19 code a lot of the other code tools we've 0:21 seen we have to figure out where to put 0:23 our logo we have to know how to convert 0:25 them into fancy files we have to know 0:27 how to get them over to our programmer 0:29 if we're going to have them add stuff we 0:31 need to know where to put our affiliate 0:32 program and it seems very daunting for 0:34 the average user who just wants to put 0:36 some things up and make money so lovable 0:39 is promising that they're going to 0:41 answer that and make it a lot easier for 0:44 us this one's going to be interesting 0:46 we're actually going to fire this up for 0:48 the first time and see how it works I 0:50 have yet to build a full tool with this 0:52 tool I've gone through and messed around 0:54 with it but not fully so Elena how you 0:56 doing today I'm doing great that's 0:58 interesting cuz uh I see it like the 1:00 only one now this is very similar to Bol 1:04 and I'm curious like what other features 1:06 it's offering and in what way it can be 1:08 better or worse we'll see yeah and and 1:11 bolt AI I mean that's like your best 1:13 friend like yeah um tell us about how 1:16 it's been and I mean this almost looks 1:18 like a fancy knockoff of Bolt AI but the 1:22 back end like we're going to look under 1:23 the hood and see that the engine is 1:25 quite different but tell us about your 1:27 experience with bolt having never really 1:29 done coating and now you're creating 1:31 tools for our customers in a really cool 1:33 way mhm yeah first of all it does look 1:35 similar to bolt like the whole menu the 1:38 functions that it's uh offer right away 1:40 and as far as I seen it also prefers to 1:42 write uh the applications on react and 1:46 to give the opportunity to deploy this 1:48 to netlify as well as bold did uh so 1:52 generally they're very similar with bolt 1:54 right now I'm mostly using it for the 1:57 very simple tools like I ask bolt to 1:59 switch to the regular JavaScript and 2:01 HTML and CSS files and not to do 2:04 anything complicated so we can upload 2:06 things directly on the customer side uh 2:11 but bolt can also do more complicated 2:14 Things based on the temples uh in a 2:16 database that it has which I also see 2:19 here that it already has templates made 2:21 on react that it on the basis of these 2:25 templates it usually makes the new tools 2:27 that you ask for it to do yeah and react 2:30 is one of the more complicated ones so 2:33 having it convert is pretty cool I also 2:35 did see that once you're done creating 2:37 your tool when you go in here um and you 2:39 click on publish you can actually 2:41 publish it to either I think they have 2:44 like a website or something you can do 2:46 uh which is on the lovable. apppp which 2:48 is not my favorite way because as you 2:50 know I like to have it on my domain and 2:52 have it completely controlled which in 2:54 order to do that we're going to use 2:55 GitHub which you would have to have a 2:57 GitHub account and then you can transer 3:00 it over to this and then it will show up 3:02 on your GitHub account uh which is cool 3:06 then you can just download it and use it 3:07 on your site which you'll see it is 3:08 going to show up right like this and you 3:11 will have all the files which you can 3:13 download as well looks like chat GPT is 3:15 trying to remind us of stuff but going 3:17 through but my issue is also that it 3:19 gives you the opportunity to download 3:21 all these files but again they're 3:22 running on react so if you upload them 3:24 to your site and you have a simple 3:26 settings there it will not run it won't 3:28 work okay so now have you tried going 3:30 through and saying hey now now convert 3:34 this this to PHP for no no no don't it's 3:38 already there in the history I opened 3:40 this because of that so um say actually 3:43 let's convert it into simple so you want 3:46 me to say that in here yeah let's 3:49 convert this to simple HTML mhm for C 3:54 panel or just HTML no just write it 3:56 because it already has this context in 3:57 the history of this one cool cool all 3:59 right so let's see how this comes up um 4:01 and this is a pretty basic tool so it's 4:03 like a split test generator yeah you can 4:05 scroll up I basically asked it to make 4:07 the tool I asked it write away to write 4:09 it in a simple way which then he said me 4:12 that I can do that but there is also a 4:15 template on react already that exist and 4:17 it would be easier to do it on the basis 4:20 of react okay so this one here it's 4:22 converting it to this and it does have a 4:25 preview which I like mhm um that's 4:27 pretty cool so looking at this it's it's 4:29 showing you the files I notic it does 4:31 have this like not found found thing 4:34 which is kind of interesting um one of 4:36 the things I did like about lovable is 4:39 the ability to create full websites and 4:42 to upload your image so we can attach an 4:44 image or a schematic I'm pretty sure we 4:47 can draw out what we want our app to 4:49 look like upload it and it'll put that 4:52 Vision to reality that is a difference 4:55 because bolt can only create something 4:57 similar to the images that you upload 5:00 or it can use the image that's already 5:02 on the internet just putting the link 5:05 inside its code but it cannot attach it 5:07 that easily as lavable can got it let's 5:10 see what that would look like if I was 5:12 to go over to something like uh let's 5:14 say uh Link in BIO or something like 5:18 that or link tree if I was to go to link 5:20 tree and get a snapshot of what this 5:23 looks like so let's get a snapshot of 5:25 the template and I can say I don't know 5:28 if this is going to show on the screen 5:30 but the capture will once we're done so 5:33 we'll go like this and we'll capture 5:37 these right 5:39 here and then I should be able to 5:42 hopefully it'll copy and paste I know 5:44 with chat GPT we can just copy and paste 5:47 hopefully that is the case an English teacher I can 9:58 tell you the best things you engate is 10:00 like a simple exercises that usually 10:02 used on the learning platforms like 10:04 choose the right article for example in 10:07 the sentence like a okay so like a 10:09 little quiz okay yeah like a dynamic 10:12 quiz when you actually enter the answer 10:13 and it checks it right away MH I like it 10:16 it's corrected like green if it's not 10:18 it's red okay so yeah so for people 10:20 looking that's actually okay yeah that 10:23 IDE there is like a lot of options of 10:25 training 10:27 exercise cool um so for pretty cool like they got 140,000 users 43:54 if you got 10 bucks a month from each of 43:55 them it's growing now so it's actually a 43:58 very good time to take it in yes 44:00 absolutely good time
