Generalist Engineeer

We are seeking an engineer with a creative, algorithmic mindset with a track record solving novel and extremely difficult problems in physics, computer science, or mathematics to join the team. You will be responsible for making our AI work, and that our core product delights our users. You will have a lot of freedom to shape the product and the company, and work closely with the founders as one of the first employees.

Lovable is building the software that builds other software. As an early member of the team you will have a great impact on the company and working closely with the founders.

• Work in close-nit team of ioi gold medalists, CTOs and founders.
• Work on a problem that has the potential to create a historical shift in how we think about software.

Responsibilities

• Explore, understand and implement the latest models and AI research in our product.
• Develop and implement the core functionalities of our product.
• Collaborate with the founding team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Contribute to the product’s technical architecture, helping to shape the future of our technology stack.

Qualifications

• Proven track record solving exceptionally difficult problems under time pressure
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Familiarity with a variety of programming languages
• Basic understanding of fundamental principles behind a scalable application, technology stack and databases
• Comfortable with fast-paced, iterative development processes
