Can I change the workspace owner?
The reference documentation doesn't detail workspace owner changes. For ownership transfer requests, contact [email protected].
Can I have several Workspaces?
Yes, you can create multiple workspaces. Each workspace is independent with its own projects, team members, and settings. You can switch between workspaces using the workspace switcher in the sidebar. This is useful for separating work by organization, client, or project type.
Can I restrict access to specific people within the workspace?
Yes, use restricted visibility to invite specific people by email, even if they're workspace members. Go to Project Settings → Visibility → Restricted, then invite individuals. This gives you fine-grained control over who can edit the project without affecting workspace-level permissions.
Can I switch between Workspaces?
Yes, use the workspace switcher in the top-left sidebar to quickly switch between your workspaces. Click your workspace name and select another workspace from the dropdown. Each workspace maintains its own projects, team members, and settings. You'll see context-specific information once you switch.
Define shared rules at the workspace level
Use workspace knowledge to define coding standards, preferred libraries, naming conventions, and architectural rules that apply to all projects in your workspace. Workspace admins set these guardrails in the Knowledge section, and they're automatically applied to every project. This keeps your team aligned without repeating guidelines in each project.
How many members can one Workspace have?
Free and Pro plans have standard collaboration but no explicit member limit. Business plans support up to 20 team members with full role-based access controls. Enterprise plans support larger teams with custom limits. If you need to exceed your plan's member limit, upgrade or contact [email protected].
I already have an account, but I'm joining a business workspace that uses SSO. How do I log in?
You'll need to log in using the business workspace's SSO provider (e.g., Okta, Azure AD), not your existing personal account. Ask your workspace admin for your tenant ID or SSO login URL. Your existing account and the SSO-linked account are separate; you can switch between them using the workspace switcher.
Is it possible to transfer projects between Workspaces?
Direct project transfer isn't supported. To move a project to another workspace, use the 'Remix' feature: right-click the project and select Remix. The remixed project will be created in your currently active workspace. The original remains in its workspace. You can then delete the original if no longer needed.
What's the difference between workspace and restricted visibility in practice?
Workspace visibility gives edit access to everyone in your workspace (all members). Restricted visibility lets you hand-pick specific people to invite, even if they're in your workspace. Use workspace for team projects where everyone should collaborate; use restricted for sensitive or client-specific work.
