TL;DR
- Nexer Group is a global enterprise technology consultancy. In Sweden, Head of Public Sales Hani Abou and his six-person sales desk manage bids across more than 70 public framework agreements, coordinating every proposal manually across spreadsheets, shared drives, and disconnected databases.
- Hani used Lovable to build a platform that connects all 11 sales tools into one screen, automatically matching consultants to project requirements and checking rates against profit margins.
- The new platform cut RFP turnaround time from an hour to 10 minutes and became a company standard for over 200 sales reps and managers. And by automating daily health checks and user feedback loops, Hani can still manage the platform himself without sacrificing his sales work.
I'd been sitting night and day in front of a computer for three weeks. I hadn't shaved, my hair was everywhere, and then I finally saw the idea I'd had in my head for years working in front of me. I called my manager and said, 'I think I solved it.'
Replacing a 15-year manual bid process with software shaped for sales
Nexer Group is a global technology consultancy operating in 15 countries and employing more than 3,000 people. Hani Abou leads sales for the Swedish public sector practice, where his team manages more than 70 approved vendor contracts and places consultants who build the public portals, hospital systems, and internal tools Swedish agencies rely on.
After 15 years running complex bids, Hani knows how to match consultant profiles to request for proposal (RFP) requirements while protecting profit margins. But tracking bids manually across spreadsheets and disconnected databases left no room to scale.
Each bid arrived as a 15-page PDF. Hani's team had to extract requirements manually, email roughly 300 consultants, and log candidate CVs across their CRM, spreadsheets, and shared drives. On busy days, the team handled up to 15 requests, each taking 45 to 60 minutes.
Public sector requirements are ruthless. You can lose a contract for simple oversights like listing eighteen months of experience on your CV when they asked for two years. Small manual errors carry a very high cost.
The desk was already running at its limit, and hiring offered no quick relief when onboarding a replacement took up to six months. When an unexpected medical leave hit the team, there was no one left to absorb the extra work.
"I knew I had to find another way. I couldn't solve the capacity problem by simply asking my team to work harder," says Hani.
Connecting 11 tools into one guided sales workflow
So Hani turned to Lovable to create a solution himself. Starting with just a plain-language description of their sales workflow, Hani used Lovable to build a bid and RFP-tracking platform that he could put in front of his team immediately.
Today, Hani's platform, Athena, runs the bid process end to end. When an RFP arrives, the platform automatically parses the requirements, cross-references Nexer's database to surface qualified consultants, and validates pricing against profit margins in a single view.

It's the equivalent of taking our entire sales workflow and running it in one place. The team sees everything they need up front instead of chasing details across separate tools.
Sales reps no longer piece together context from spreadsheets and email chains. The platform gives the team a single home to manage complex bids in one place.

Reducing bid turnaround from an hour to 10 minutes
Within four months, Hani's team was able to run every live deal through the software. Bid turnaround time quickly dropped from an hour to as fast as five minutes, allowing the six-person sales team to reclaim hours and manage more bids each day.
What worked for the six-person sales team soon spread across the company. Eight months after Hani started the build, Nexer adopted the software as a standard across its Swedish business units. But scaling software across multiple teams without an IT department brought a new operational test: keeping the system reliable as daily usage surged.
From the start, Hani built with the wider company in mind. "I knew the platform I was building could not be something just for me or my team," says Hani. "It needed to be enterprise-ready, with administrative controls, security layers, and the flexibility for different business units to use it while keeping the same core process."
Enterprise governance made security a deciding factor. Because Lovable builds are backed by SOC 2 Type II compliance, ISO 27001 certification, and role-based access controls, Hani could safely connect customer histories, consultant availability, commercial margins, and past reference cases across 11 external systems and registries.
Building the software was the fast part. The real work was making sure 200 people could rely on it every day without turning me into a full-time help desk.
Maintaining software for 200 users on the sales team's timeline
To manage platform updates to pricing and guardrails alongside his sales role, Hani automated daily system checks that alert him when the software needs attention.
I run this platform without an engineering team, so the system has to tell me when it needs me. Every morning, I get a Teams message with the results of 26 automated system checks. It tells me how the system is performing, flags any issues, and provides the prompt to resolve it.
A second automation helps Hani address user feedback. When someone reports a bug or requests a feature, the platform logs the issue directly in GitHub. Hani receives the details alongside a prompt he can run in Lovable to ship the fix.
This automated feedback loop helps Hani evolve the platform himself, even as its use has expanded far beyond his original six-person team.

Scaling from a frontline sales tool to connected, governed enterprise systems
Nexer is now expanding the platform further, connecting Salesforce CRM and ERP systems to bring live financial and invoicing data directly into the sales workflow. Hani's next step is voice: letting account executives ask questions out loud and get instant answers on deal pricing, consultant availability, and margins.
With Lovable, Hani proved what happens when the person closest to the problem can build the solution. By starting with proven workflows and expanding into governed enterprise systems, the team shapes software around how they win.
