Can I change the visibility of my project?

Yes, in Project Settings you can set your project to Public, Private, or Listed. Public projects are visible to everyone; Private is for invited collaborators only. Business/Enterprise plans can restrict workspace publishing to members only.

Can I continue editing my Lovable project in ChatGPT?

Yes, if you've connected Lovable to ChatGPT, you can edit projects through that interface. However, Lovable's native editor at lovable.dev offers the most complete feature set, including the visual editor, GitHub integration, and full control over modes. For the best experience, use the native editor for complex changes and ChatGPT for quick prompts.

Can I hide the Lovable badge?

The Lovable badge appears on free projects. Upgrade to a paid plan (Pro or Business) to remove it. Once upgraded, the badge is hidden, giving your project a fully custom appearance.

Can I set a default region for all new projects?

The reference material does not describe setting a default Cloud region. For details on region preferences for new projects, contact [email protected] or check Account Settings.

Does project visibility affect who can visit my published app?

No, project visibility (private, workspace, restricted) doesn't affect who can visit your published app. Those settings control who can edit the Lovable project, not who can visit the live site. Once published, your app is public at its URL unless you add authentication (login page) or deploy only to a custom domain and restrict network access.

How do I create a project?

Go to lovable.dev, click 'New Project', and give it a name. You'll enter the editor where you can start building by typing prompts. Lovable creates a workspace and project automatically.

How do I find the Project settings?

Click the gear icon (⚙) in the top-right of the editor to open Project Settings. Here you can customize favicon, browser tab title, domain, visibility, and more.

How do project visibility and website access work together?

Project visibility controls who can edit your Lovable project (private = only you, workspace = workspace members, restricted = specific people). Website access is separate: once published, anyone with the URL can visit unless you add authentication. Business/Enterprise plans let you restrict workspace-only publishing. For private sites, add a login page in Lovable.

How to save a Lovable project

Your project saves automatically as you work. If you've connected GitHub, changes sync automatically. Go to Project Settings (gear icon) to customize metadata like favicon and browser tab title, or to access advanced options like workspace-level publishing for Business/Enterprise plans.

Project overview

Each project has a dedicated overview page showing your app's status, recent changes, and quick links to key features like publishing, version history, and integrations.

Project quick access

Use project quick access features to speed up your workflow—save frequently accessed sections, integrations, or settings for faster navigation.

Project settings

Access Project Settings to configure your app's metadata (favicon, title for browser tabs and search results), billing, team access, and other project-specific options.

Why do some projects show as never scanned?

Projects may show as never scanned if you haven't run a security scan yet or if the scan hasn't completed. The Security center may not auto-scan all projects. Try manually triggering a scan in the Security view. If a project still shows as never scanned, it may not be eligible for scanning (e.g., very new projects). Contact [email protected] for details.

Will referencing a project modify it?

No, referencing or remixing a project does not modify the original. Remix creates a copy, leaving the source project unchanged. This is intentional to preserve the original and allow independent iterations. The remixed version is entirely separate and can be customized without affecting the source.
