How do I write better prompts to get the results I want?
Be clear and specific—describe exactly what you want changed and where. Focus on one feature at a time. Include context about your app and the desired outcome. Use positive instructions ('Make the button blue') rather than vague requests ('Fix the button').
The AI is doing something completely different from what I asked.
Try rephrasing your prompt to be more specific and explicit. Break complex requests into smaller steps. Include details about what you want changed and what should stay the same. If the AI consistently misunderstands, try a fresh approach or contact support.
The AI keeps making changes I didn't ask for.
Tell the AI explicitly what not to change: 'Only update the header text—don't modify the layout, colors, or other sections.' If it continues, revert to a previous version and try a more targeted prompt.
