Why can't I create or update products even though Shopify is connected?

Check that you've granted Lovable the required permissions in Shopify (Admin → Apps → Lovable). Ensure your Shopify plan includes API access for custom apps. Verify that the authenticated account has admin permissions in the store. If issues persist, disconnect and reconnect Shopify in Lovable Project Settings. Check Shopify Admin → Logs for errors when attempting to create/update products.
